THE EVENT:
2.5 K for youngsters age 11 and under.
All other divisions will ski 5 K.
You may use whatever ski's you are comfortable on, be they classic or free style. Respect the tracks. Good sportsmanship is expected on passing.
DIVISIONS:
8 & under (2.5K),
9-11 (2.5K),
12-15 (5K),
16-18 (5K)
Skiers under the age of 11 may "challenge up" to the 5K age 12-15 bracket but at your own risk! In other words; you race with the 12-15 year olds and how you finish in that age division will determine what place you are awarded. If you "challenge up" you must declare this on the registration form. You cannot wait until the race is about to begin to say that you suddenly want to switch age divisions
AWARDS:
Medals to top three skiers in each class.
ENTRY FEES:
$20 Per skier.
includes trail fees & free souvenir Wintersportsfest t-shirt. There is a state park vehicle entry fee: $6 day pass or $24 annual
DEADLINES:
Registration deadline to receive your t-shirt is January 30th.
Registrations received after 1-30-08 will not receive a free t-shirt.
MAIL:
Advance registration will guarantee a free t-shirt if received by 1-30-08!
