THE EVENT:
Enjoy racing the 2.5k course, through the winding trails of the Winter Sports Complex on snowshoes. Parents may accompany their young child if necessary. We want to encourage as much fun and participation for the kids.
SNOWSHOES:
You may use your own snowshoes or rent them from the Winter Sports complex on site. Please call the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex to reserve your snowshoes – there are a limited number.
RULES:
Girls and Boys will race together and will win awards based on the top 3 finishers in each age group.
Parents may accompany their child, but are not eligible for a free t-shirt or awards.
AGE DIVISIONS:
6 and under, 7-10, 11-15, 16-18
AWARDS:
Medals to first three places in each age division.
ENTRY FEES:
$20 Per Snowshoe Racer.
Parents may accompany the racer if the racer is under 11 years old. Includes trail fees & free souvenir Wintersportsfest t-shirt.
ADD: $15 to upgrade the t-shirt to a hooded sweatshirt
STATE PARK:
There is a state park vehicle entry fee: $6 day pass or $24 annual..
